I don't know why February seems so short when it is only two or three days shorter than other months. Does anyone else feel like February is over in a blink? It seemed even shorter this year since I didn't really experience the month :) At least, that's how it felt. The theme of this month was RENOVATIONS. We spent some part of almost every single day at our new house, working on things. We tore out flooring, painted doors, walls, baseboards, etc. We laid new flooring, put flooring, a new ceiling, and lights in the basement. We have been moving carloads of storage boxes to the basement.
All month, unless I had something else going on that day, I was at the farm. Sundays were our "day of rest" but that pretty much meant doing all the things we don't have time for during the week. It's been crazy and hectic to say the least but I'm very thankful it is just a short season of life that will be over soon. I could not live like this long term. I did have a good birthday :) It was relatively quite and chill but nice. Birthdays were a break from working, so that was nice! My business has been relegated to the bare minimum this month but I have been posting to Instagram and I did do one session. It was fun to use my newborn posing pillow for the first time! I can't forget to add the snow we got!!!! We got a couple of good snow storms that were nice while they lasted. Also, I love moving in the winter. The cold is so nice when you're working! All in all, we had a very productive month, as we are ahead of schedule on the house and there was a time when it looked like moving might be pushed back a couple of weeks. Now we are less than two weeks out. YIKES!!! How was your month? What did you do? Where there any fun surprises along the way? Photo by Rodion Kutsaev on Unsplash
