I can't believe I am saying "Christmas" already! But such is the way things work in the photography world :) Even though fall has barely begun, this is the time to make plans so that your Christmas cards are not a last minute panic and that starts with a photo! For the first time ever, SJP is offering Pine Tree Mini sessions!!!

A lot of my clients are families with fairly young children. That makes sense, because when kids are young is when they change the most, but getting photos taken is not something that is reserved for families with kids. And mini sessions are not just for them either! So are mini sessions for?
It's that time! Fall is a super popular time of year for family photos and I am opening up a day for mini sessions with all of the fall color! Keep reading for details.
Mini sessions are a lot of fun but they are different from a full session. There is no reason why you can't have a great mini session but education is the key so today we are going to talk about the ins and outs of mini sessions.
Mini sessions come in MANY different forms! I know photographers who do elaborate studio setups for every major holiday, others who do simple minis outdoors, and everything in between!! There is a mini session offering for every kind of desire and I love that! Photographers can do what they love without having to be everything to everyone! I am more on the side of doing simple setups or outdoors and focusing on creating candid photos of your love and joy as a family. But no matter what style you're looking for, there are a few things that factor in to why people might prefer booking a mini session.
The flowers will start peeking out soon and that means it's time to start thinking about getting outside!!!! While I love winter, I do miss shooting outdoors and I am so excited to announce that I am now booking for spring mini sessions!!!
There is a pregnancy resource center in my community that my church has been involved with for many years. As I've gotten older, my mom has gotten our family more involved in some simple ways.
One of my missions is to promote the value of life and that is exactly what this center does. I believe that the gifts God gives should be used for His glory and given back to Him. Because of those two beliefs, I approached the center to see if they would be interested in doing some photo sessions for some of their clients. The response was a resounding YES! |
Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
