Which goes faster? Time... or grass growing in the spring? My dad said the other day that he thought the grass looked noticeably longer at dinner than it did that morning! Spring for me is a game with the weather. Can I squeeze in time to mow between rainstorms?

Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you that I have music playing CONSTANTLY! That makes this week's question a variable that changes every few minutes.
It's hard to believe that Hannah is graduating! My family has known her/s since before she was born and they were even in our homeschool co=op for a few years. It's always so fun to photograph young men and women that I've gotten to watch grow up :)
As a solo photographer, I don't often get a lot of behind-the-scenes footage, especially not with me in it! But at a recent senior session, the mother was taking a lot of BTS photos to send to her daughter's grandmother. I thought it would be fun to show you what it looked like to the mother vs. what the final image was!
What a fun question! Too bad I don't have an easy answer :) My days are so different that it's hard to find things that I do every day (besides things like sleep and eat). However, there are some things I do *most* days, so we'll go with that.
Did you know that there are studies behind having printed photos in your home? I've seen and experienced anecdotal evidence, but people have studied this and found some amazing benefits to having printed photos around the home for children to view.
This might be one of the most interesting questions I've done yet! I feel like there are so many qualifiers that would change what kind of answers one would give. But we'll give it a go anyway.
No one really knew. I certainly didn't. It wasn't until months later that she told me just how special the photos were to them.
I talk about how photos freeze a moment in time and let you hold on to precious memories but this experience that a client told me about drove that point home in a whole new way. This downtown Frankenmuth session was so much fun and we were blessed with beautiful sunshine! I've been to this cute town several times but this was my first portrait session there and it has so much to offer in the way of photo locations! Natalie totally rocked this session and we had so much fun!
Welcome to one of my favorite months! We are starting off well with a super fun senior session that I am doing today and I can't wait to share it with you :) This is going to be a fun month, I think.

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
