I'm so excited that we got to have VBS this year!!! I was really concerned we might not, since I wasn't hearing anything about it and it seemed like announcements should have started being made. But we did and it went VERY well (at least I think so). Stay tuned for a couple of funny stories :)

I've been geocaching before; mostly unsuccessfully. If you don't know what that is, it is using GPS coordinates to find a hidden cache where you take something and leave something. Letterboxing is a similar concept, only you don't use GPS and you use stamps.
Once you have decided on the kind of book you want, the next decision is cover options! (If you have not seen my post breaking down the options of albums and books, you can find it here.) In this post, I am diving into the different cover options that I provide from the myriad of choices offered by my lab, White House Custom Colour.
My lab is coming out with new products all the time but I can't and don't incorporate every offering because that would be way too much for you and me! But the introduction of the layflat book has me very excited and I think you should be excited too!
There are so many options when it comes to getting your photos printed in an heirloom book format. How do you know which style is best for you? Today I am breaking down the options that my lab, White House Custom Colour, provides and giving you my thoughts on what I would recommend to my clients!
Calling all young adults!!! Focus On The Family has a new resource that is focused on young adults and the challenges facing us.
When it comes to these milestone sessions, six months seems to fly and drag at the same time! I never can believe how much my #sjpbabies change in six months! I have loved seeing the monthly photos Rhys' mom takes and posts on Instagram!
I know I love learning fun, odd, unique things about other people (my internet "friends") so I am going to share some things you might not know about me!
My favorite kind of non-fiction is biographies. I love learning about history from the perspectives and lives of the men and women who actually lived it. Reading about their triumphs and struggles is inspiring. If you are new to the genre of biography or want just a taste of several biographies, Eric Metaxas' 7 Men & 7 Women is a great book!
I've been on a bit of an old movie binge lately. Think the world of Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, and Jimmy Stewart. There is something about the way they acted back then that fascinates me! The women had such grace and the way they talked... no one talks like that these days.
But there is clearly a difference in storytelling because usually when I finish a movie my reaction is, "what was that?" The endings are... odd. And sometimes I REALLY don't like the way the men and women interact with one another. Let's put it this way - I have not added any movies to my established favorites list :) |
Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
