It's time to accept that winter is over and spring is here. I wonder if it would be easier for me to let winter go if we actually had decent winters around here. There are a few things I'm looking forward to this spring so that helps. But we are here to talk about what happened in March!

I don't talk about books a lot on here but sometimes I read a book that is so good I just HAVE to share it with others! And I would definitely recommend this to other small business owners because we can all too easily fall into hurry with all that we have on our plates.
This is a book I had heard about for years and is one of a handful of books I've read in my life that I read at just the right time, even if it was long after I "should" have read it. I had a Sunday School teacher once who always said, "we don't play games, we have learning experiences." My twist on it is, "we don't have failures, we have learning experiences". And it's taken a lot of growth to get to the point where I can say that!
Journaling is such a great habit for your kids. In the moment, it allows them to process an event and the emotions that go along with it. In the future, it let's them remember the feelings and even things that they may have otherwise forgotten. It's also a discipline in consistency and helps them learn handwriting and communication skills. I could keep going with the many benefits of journaling but how to you start your kids off on this (hopefully) life-long habit?
Are you on the fence about whether or not you should join a spokesmodel team? Not sure if it's a good fit for you? I'm going to tell you who should and who should not join the SJP Spokesmodel Team!
It has been one year since we moved to Grafted Branch Farm. What has it looked like? I'm sharing the good and the hard things, as well as a few things that were surprising to me.
Since I launched my spokesmodel team, you may be wondering why you should consider joining. It's a fair question. Senior year has a lot going on in it already. Do you really want to add one more thing? I'm going to give you three reasons why you should have a senior photo experience that lasts your whole senior year.
I know that I don't typically focus on couples but families are one of my focuses and the relationship between the parents is critical to the success of the family. Because of that, I care about the flourishing of the couples I get to work with, and couples in general. And while I am not married, I have found two resources that I think are just incredible in the way they seek to encourage connection for couples.
I think I need to start letting go of winter. Spring is coming and I need to accept that. I wonder if it would be easier to greet spring if we actually had decent winters where I live. But I don't want to complain. Here I come, March!
The wait is over!
