It's been a while since we've had a garden but this year we are trying TWO! The big garden in the back is not fully planted (thank goodness!) but we are experimenting with a variety of things. We are late getting things in the ground, so we didn't get everything we wanted, particularly in the herb garden, but we'll have plenty to start us off! Kitchen Garden
Big Garden
I'm sure I've missed a few things or not put them in the right spots. I'm only loosely connected with the gardens and have not had a chance to help plant anything yet. Actually, not everything is planted yet and you may notice that we have some things in both places. The kitchen garden is intended to be things we will used on a daily basis so we want it to be accessible. But back in the big garden we are growing more for quantity. We plan on canning a lot of things and I want to dry herbs. I am the driving force behind the herbs, as I like to use them in cooking a lot. I know that the gardens will be a lot of work and I am not a fan of weeding, but I'm actually slightly looking forward to having the gardens. (I can't believe I said that!) Hopefully I can remember that come harvest time :) Do you plant a garden? What do you like to grow?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
