I talk a lot about the "experience" that you get when working with me, but what does that entail? What should you expect when you book a session? I'm glad you asked! First and foremost, you can expect a personal experience. A unique thing about working with a professional photographer verses a studio like Portrait Innovations is that your session can be tailored to you and your family.
You can expect good communication. I don't know about you, but the companies that take forever to get back to me or don't answer my questions aren't the kind of places I go back to or recommend. Good, prompt communication is a crucial aspect of a good experience. You can expect professional care. I want to work with you and listen to your ideas and desires for your session but I am also able to guide you if you don't know exactly what you want. From session locations to help with outfits, I am here to offer my expert opinion at each step of the journey. You can expect education. I firmly believe that clients who are well-educated have the best experiences. I will send you all the information you need to set up your session to be the best it can be. I am happy to answer any and all questions so don't be afraid to ask! I'd rather you ask then have us miscommunicate. You can expect a quick turnaround. I am proud to offer gallery delivery within two weeks of your session! My photo lab prints and ships orders within two days. I know how excited you are to see your photos and display them in your home so it is important to me to not delay the process. You can expect me to make things right. If there are ANY problems with your experience or products, I will make it right. One of the things I love about this business is that I get to work "one on one" with my clients. I get to talk to you and get to know you. It's such an honor to be invited into your lives and I don't take that lightly. I've dealt with my fair share of poor customer service and I draw on my good AND my bad experiences to make your experience better and better. Too many businesses seem to lose sight of the fact that they are dealing with PEOPLE and people should be treated with respect and courtesy. You will see that in how I conduct my experiences and sessions. Welcome to the SJP Experience!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
