I feel like I'm getting whiplash. Where did summer go? This year, though, I'm satisfied that I made the most of my summer, rather than just letting it pass me by. It's time to dive into another school year, whether we are in school or not, and I've got a full September! I moved two of my goals from August to September because they are not done! I'm hoping that we can do our Detroit girls' trip but my friends are starting school so we will see if they get settled in enough to take a day off. #benefitsofhomeschooling
My great uncle gifted me tickets to a Tigers game so we are going to a game this year. I'm planning to just pretend that these are two teams I don't have any attachment to and just enjoy a day at the ballpark, since the odds are not in our favor to win, unfortunately. I'm going to try and detach my emotions and just enjoy the experience! But the biggest thing is that I'm FLYING to my friend's wedding! I have not flown in 14 years and I'm not crazy about doing it but I'll be fine. It's fine. Millions of people fly every year and I'll be fine! If you have helpful tips for flying, I'd love to hear them. I'm looking forward to seeing my friend and celebrating with her. It's going to be a party for sure! I'll be finishing first visits of churches and then starting to figure out which ones I want to visit more. To the business side of things, I'll be doing the finishing touches on my Style Guides and the main focus will be Dubsado. If setting that up goes better/faster than I expect, I will be working on my Wordpress site. I'm s l o w l y setting up a Wordpress website and eventually will be switching over to that platform. My friend Liesl is helping me navigate the complexity that is Wordpress but that same complexity is what allows me to do more of the things I want to do with my website and blog. It's going to be a good thing, whenever it gets up and running. What are your September goals and plans? Are you going back to school or just settling back into your normal routines and schedules? Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
