Starting last Tuesday, Michigan entered a three-week quarantine. Before, we couldn't go anywhere really except other people's houses. Now we aren't even supposed to see others in person. For three weeks. The hardest thing is knowing that there is no light at the end of three weeks. They'll just reevaluate then. The other hard thing is that more and more bad news keeps coming. My cousin was going to play baseball at Cooperstown this summer and I was going with them. That's cancelled. The Olympics are cancelled for the summer, to be done at a later date. My friends from Nebraska were coming after Easter and now they aren't. It's funny the things you didn't know you had left to lose. That's a lot of sad news so is there any good news? There actually is.
I'm not going to lie and say it is easy for me to be thankful in this time. The losses sting. And when they keep showing up slowly, it extends the hurt. BUT, staying stuck in the losses is miserable so I'm trying to take a lead from my friends and find things to be thankful and positive about. What are some things you are thankful for in this time?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
