Here we are, halfway through 2023. I can't believe it either. Even though the year is speeding by, I'm really pleased with how it's going so far. I hope it's been going well for you too and that you are enjoying summer! June was less packed than May but just barely. It was still quite full and very fun! I made homemade cards for the first time in years, made a delicious pound cake, and tried lavender lemonade again. My allergies were terrible this month but I think we may be turning a corner on that. Fingers crossed. A huge highlight of this month was that our new pastor and new Family Life Director both were installed at our church! Our senior pastor is so excited to have them both here and I can't wait to see where things go. I did a lot of photography this month. I was on the team of photographers for the ordination and installation and the reception for our new staff members. I took some photos at my cousin's horse show (harsh, direct, midday light), and I was the VBS photographer at my church. That's on top of continuing my blog project. I have been enjoying getting practice in and using my skills. Personal
Business
I have not checked any of my summer plans off of my list yet but that's okay. I'm not worried about getting them in.

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
