My favorite part of this session was near the end, when their little boy played peek-a-boo with me!! He wasn't all that into pictures but when he got to play with his blocks, I started getting real smiles and then peek-a-boo! Total win. Referrals are the lifeblood of the small business owner and I was so happy to get this referral from a family I did photos for two years ago and have know for a long time. I didn't realize until I got there that this was her sister-in-law!! I remember hearing from my friend that she had twin nieces back when these cuties were born but it never clicked that this might be them! One of them has the same name as a girl I grew up with and I've never met another before today!
As much as I love outdoor sessions, and they'll always be my favorite, there is something so special about doing a portrait session in your home. You get the feel of the family and to be able to do photos in front of your own tree? It's so personal and special. The girls were absolute dolls and the little guy gave me just enough to work with. I love seeing kids interacting with their environment and playing with their toys. I try to keep up on some of the latest shows and toys so I can know what the kids are showing me :) This family was so sweet and did such a good job. We persevered through and your photos turned out beautiful! Enjoy this sneak peek!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
