I hope you're not getting tired of me talking about moving. It's been a huge, consuming part of my life and I'm still processing it. Obviously I've only ever done a slow, local move but I have been thinking of the pros and cons of moving that way. Pros Of A Local, Slow Move
Cons of a Local, Slow Move
I think, overall, I am glad we got to do a slow, local move. It has its drawbacks, but I don't think I'd rather do a distance move where everything would be faster paced. I don't think one way is necessarily better than the other. I think moving is hard no matter what. There are times when I think I would rather have moved further away but that is just me not liking things to blend. With big changes, I like to have definitive lines in the sand. "Here is the end of one thing and the beginning of another". But most of life is not clean endings and fresh beginnings so I need to figure out how to deal with it :) Have you moved locally and slowly? What was your experience? If you've moved locally AND some distance, I'd love to hear your perspective on both.

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
