I encourage my clients to print out their photos and I make it easy for them to do so through their gallery. But what products should you get? I recommend certain products based on the type of session you did. Family Sessions
These sessions are the ones you will want to get a large format print of the whole family and you'll probably use some of the images for your Christmas cards. Many families get updated portraits taken yearly or every other year as the kids get older, so getting a frame that you can add new prints to is a smart idea.
Senior Sessions This is a once-in-a-lifetime event and that calls for something special. Senior sessions also have a huge variety of photos to choose from. Albums are a great physical product and you can get smaller albums for the grandparents. Graduation cards are something you will be needing anyway and many families display a portrait for each of their kid's senior years.
Newborn Sessions While you might have more than one newborn, each child is a newborn only once and only for a short time. In addition to a photo or two for display in your home, many families also create a gallery wall in the nursery. Think three vertical images above the crib or two horizontal with a vertical in the middle above the changing table. Albums are also a great product to have as a memory and your child will love it one day.
These are my recommendations but that doesn't mean that these products are always right for your family or situation! Every gallery will show you the variety of products available and you can choose what fits your life best. What product would you be most excited to get? Is there something you wish I offered?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
