Sometimes things come about in strange ways. It's a really long story of how I came to meet Tessa's family and take her senior photos but it is the latest in a line of stories I have of fun ways clients and I have connected! Tessa was so much fun to work with! She was a natural in front of the camera and it was amazing how many things in her life intersected with mine in one way or another. She is thinking of pursuing engineering and mentioned considering the school my dad (and uncle and grandparents, etc) went to! Plus, my dad is an engineer. Different kinds, but who cares? She goes to Churchill High School where I had friends and family attend and she's a swimmer. One of my friends in high school was a swimmer. So even though I personally don't do any of those things, there were lots of ways I could connect to her!
I am so blessed to work with clients who are up for anything and do literally whatever I say! They trust me enough to walk across black walnuts (carefully!) and do ridiculous things like laugh at absolutely nothing because it makes great, genuine photos! Tessa has a beautiful smile that lights up her entire face! Tessa, it was so nice to finally meet you and it is an honor to be able to participate in a small way with you in this exciting milestone called graduation!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
