Don't worry, I'm not going to turn this into a food blog! But my goal with this blog is to connect with you and give you information that can help you in life! I know a lot of people want to do more homemade things and I found a really simple way to make garlic bread at home and it tastes REALLY good! You can use any bread you would like but I've liked using white bread. One time I used potato hamburger buns and they tasted a little strange with the potato. Whatever you like or have on hand should be perfectly fine.
You need: - butter - garlic powder - garlic salt - basil - oregano - cheese Butter the bread and put it on a baking tray. (I put tin foil on my tray first.) Then sprinkle the garlic powder, garlic salt, basil, and oregano over the pieces of bread. It's not an exact science. The first time I made it, the consensuses was that it needed more garlic, so next time I adjusted. You can play with it to find what works. Stick the tray in the oven under the broiler and PAY ATTENTION TO IT! It literally only takes seconds to go from "fine" to "burned". In my experience, they don't all brown completely evenly, but I figure it works out so people can choose more done or less. After they have been in for a short time, add the cheese and slide it back in to finish toasting and melt the cheese. Ta-da! Please let me know if you try it and what you think. If you come up with your own twist, I'd love to hear what you come up with!
