With the whirlwind that was moving, March went by almost as fast as February. Spring is definitely here. It's a dreary, rainy day as I write this and I'm trying to compensate with my salt lamp and a candle. Sometimes I can't even open my shades on rainy days. Spring, with its rainy days, are much harder on me than winter will ever be. But you're here to see how March went, not hear about the weather :) I don't set a ton of goals for myself each month. Typically two to three projects and I meant to take it even easier this particular month but that only sort of happened. As if moving wasn't a big enough project for one month, I also had on my agenda to adjust my product pricing and set up a whole new newsletter delivery system! Whew! Those other two projects where not as daunting as I was expecting but still took some time.
Moving occupied the first three weeks of March almost exclusively. We pretty much got unpacked the first week, which was made possible by lots of work every day but it felt so good to not have that hanging over our heads for a long time. We're more or less settled in now, but there is still a lot to do. One big, pressing project is to cut down our box elder tree because there are box elder bugs EVERYWHERE!!!! It's insane. I did get my newsletter set up. It didn't even take as long as I expected. There are likely two reasons for that: firstly, that I know how I like my newsletter structured and so I didn't have to figure out what I wanted to do like the last time I did this and secondly, this is the third time I've set all this up, so I think I'm just getting better at doing it. However, I'm really hoping I can stay with this system for a long time! My next newsletter goes out the first week of April, so if you want to get it (and subsequent newsletters), you need to sign up right now! The next one doesn't go out until July, so it will be awhile if you miss this one. As you've probably noticed, prices for everything are going up so I had to take a look at my product pricing and my sessions and make adjustments where necessary. It's not a fun task, especially because the reason is inflation, but it had to be done. Thankfully not a lot needed adjusting. The "fun" thing for March was going to see Steven Curtis Chapman in concert!! That was March for me. What happened in your life this past month? Did you accomplish goals? Were there surprises for you? I'd love to hear about it!
