I don't know about you but the Christmas season fills up fast and goes by even quicker! I'm still learning how to be intentional during this time of year, but one thing I've learned is that I have to say "no". There are so many good and fun things that we have the option to do but we can't do everything. Here is my working theory - I think we need to plan in advance what we want to do each Christmas season and then say "no" to the rest. I also think that we need to leave wiggle room. I know in my life, things have come up in December that I would like to do, but I've planned so much that now I can't get together with that friend who came to town. I don't like having to say no to them, so I'm going to choose to say no to other things.
So what are some things we could consider saying "yes" to that will help us slow down and spend time with people? I have a few suggestions that I've done myself and loved that you could consider.
What traditions do you have? How do you slow down and savor this season?

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you!
