This is going to sound funny, but I"m as surprised by this announcement as you are! Seriously, this was not on my radar as something I would do in 2023, but when it popped into my head I thought, "why not?", and so here we are. One of the things I am working on this year is diversifying my offerings and income streams. I dearly love the amazing people I get to work with, but there is a huge portion of people who can't work with me for one reason or another. Some live too far away, others don't need the services I provide, or maybe money is a little tight and they can't book a session right now. Whatever the case, I have wondered if there was something I could offer for the people who don't book sessions with me. A few years ago, I heard of some high-level wedding photographers who started selling prints. I thought it was a little weird, to be honest, because it had absolutely nothing to do with photographing weddings or educating photographers. But the idea stuck around in the back of my mind as a "maybe someday" kind of thought. This year, with the goal of creating new income streams besides just my photo sessions, the idea suddenly came back and I realized, "I think I can actually do this". The process is super simple and easy for both me and prospective clients. The SJP Print Store is actually a gallery, like you would get if you booked a session with me, and I have categories for different types of images. Right now I have 30 photos in the store and I will add more as time goes on. You select the photo you want, click "Buy", and you can select the product you want and make any additional selections needed based on the product. (If you were buying a mounted print, you select the size and the mounting material.) There are three things that make me super excited about this store:

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
