When I started wearing dresses and skirts, I also started wearing leggings. I don't know if it's TMI to say, but I hate my legs touching each other skin on skin!!! It's a weird sensory thing for me. In the summer, there are capri leggings but I still wanted shorts to wear under my skirts and dresses. After many, MANY years, I finally found something that I wish I had found much sooner... Undersummers. I used to wear bike shorts but I never had much luck. They were either too tight or they would constantly ride up my legs, thus rendering them useless for what I wanted them to do. Leggings had their own problem with wearing out at the seams from the constant friction. Undersummers solve both of these problems.
For starters, they have the length that I've always wanted!!! I get the longest two options and they go to my knee or just above. The don't slide up my leg and they aren't too tight! They are also uniquely constructed so that there are no seams on the inside of the thighs!!! No seams to rub and rip! An additional thing that I love about them is that they are made of "silk", so that my dresses and skirts don't catch on the fabric and hang oddly. Undersummers are cool, lightweight, and feel so nice on my skin! If they ever make full leggings, I would totally buy those too!!! You can check out all the different styles on their website! (I have the Fusion 9" and the extra long 15". The classic 6.5 and 7 inches weren't long enough from my preferences).
