The best was when we got the cats.
Emily lit up holding her cat, which was almost as big as she was, or so it seemed. The cat would slip and Mom would help her readjust, with me snapping pictures the whole time. It was precious, so sweet, and lots of fun. This was my first referral job. A friend from church texted to see if I could take family portraits for her cousin's family. They were a joy to work with and were very patient as we figured out the lighting. Their son did such a great job, standing and smiling while we tried to get his sister to smile. Despite having a headache, she did a great job too. They were so sweet and kind. Even throwing the family pets into the mix was easy. The animals were still; the dog was afraid of me! Thankfully we did the cats last, as they got white hair all over the kids :) I got my share of cat hair on me, but you do what you have to do to get the shots. We moved people in and out to get all the combinations and poses they wanted and it went so smoothly, we were done it about an hour! You were such a gracious family to work with and I am so glad I could serve you. Enjoy your photos!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
