How do you want to end your senior session? I'm a fan of epic endings. I had one senior girl who wanted to do cheer jumps and then actually laid down in a muddy puddle because she wanted to! It was crazy but so uniquely her. It truly was an epic way to end the session. Maybe muddy puddles are not your thing but you still want to go out with a bang. I've got just the suggestion for you. Glitter.
Yes, I went there. Glitter is a fun way to add literal sparkle to your photos. The reason we want to save it for the end is that we don't necessarily want it in all our other photos and believe me, it will get in your hair and on your skin and attach itself to your clothes. If glitter is more messy than you want to get, confetti is another great option. For extra interest, try getting confetti that has variation to the size pieces and even shapes. (Example: some pieces are circles, other's are the strips, others are stars... that sort of thing). Some of my favorite things to do with these elements is have you blow on handfuls and throw other handfuls up in the air. (Side note: the throwing pose is also super fun with water photos). Guys, I don't want to leave you out but I'm guessing that glitter is not your thing. However, smoke bombs give a really epic look to photos and don't look girly. Girls, you're welcome to do a smoke bomb too if you want. With all of these options, you want to make sure you pick a color that goes well with your outfit. Choosing your school colors is another great option - either the school you're graduating from or the colors for your college, if you are going to college. A few things to note: For all of these things, make sure you're getting biodegradable versions. I do intend to clean up as much as I can but anything that gets blown away or we miss, I don't want us to be littering. You also need to check to see if there are any restrictions on things like confetti at the location you've chosen. Some places do not allow things like this because so many people do leave a mess (unfortunately). So please look into that. And lastly, especially with the smoke bombs, we want to be smart and do them safely. They can be really fun when done well and I want us to have fun with them. What would be your pick - glitter, confetti, or smoke bomb? Let me know down below!
