I'm bringing you part two of an email newsletter series from Light & Airy Mobile Presets! I hope part one was inspiring and encouraging to you and that you're so excited to learn how to get those photos printed out!! Check out part one HERE and read on for what to do now that you have those photos on your phone. We recommend creating an album in your phone’s gallery named “Kid’s Artwork” to store the specific photos and prevent them from getting lost or mixed with other photos! Once you have a series of photos collected, you can create an album in Lightroom as well titled “Kid’s Artwork” and transfer the photos there for editing! Once you have the photos in Lightroom you can edit all of the photos in the album at once! We love editing with The Clean Preset from your Lifestyle Mobile Pack for these photos since we want to keep the colors more true to tone! Try editing one photo using The Clean Preset or find the preset you love the most! You can adjust the exposure and white balance if necessary until you find the perfect edit! Save your edit and go back to the “Kid’s Artwork” album in Lightroom! Tap the (...) in the top right and choose “Select” which will give you the opportunity to select the photo you just edited! Tap that photo and then “Copy” at the bottom bar. This will copy the settings saved to edit that photo, you can then select the rest of the photos in the album you want to edit and tap “Paste” along the bottom! This is called batch editing and gives all photos selected the same look! You can always go in and edit individual photos if you prefer or adjust specific settings after completing the batch edit! :) Now that you have taken and edited your photos it’s time to create your Photobook! We love using the company Chatbooks for printing albums! They are super easy to use and great quality, especially for mobile photos! :) If you are working from a computer you will want to transfer your photos from your phone gallery to your computer! You can also create your photobook easily from the Chatbooks app on your phone!! If you don’t already have one, create a free Chatbooks account by downloading the app on your phone or visiting their website chatbooks.com!! We chose a Standard Photo Book for this specific project! Select the size of your album, soft or hard cover, and color... this is all totally personal preference! We selected an 8x8 hardcover for ours! :) You will want to have a minimum of 30 pages to order your album! You can choose one photo per page or create a collage if you like that option instead! Add the photos you want to include and arrange the pages however you like! Once you have 30+ pages you are ready to order your book and throw out that artwork you love, but don’t want to physically hold onto forever! It will be super fun for your kids to look back on with you for years to come! And if you have more than one child, it would be great to create an album for each one! We hope you will find freedom in this fun way of remembering your sweet children’s artwork for years to come, while eliminating the clutter all at the same time! :) We love to see the unique ways our L&A fam are using the presets everyday! Don’t forget to #everydaywithlanda and show us what fun things you’re up to! :) Thank you so much! Caroline and Anna Did you love this article? You can sign up for their email newsletter HERE. They don't swamp you with emails; I think I get a couple a month and they are full of great tips for mamas to capture your kiddos lives with just your phone!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
