Are your photos of your kids years old? Is your last family photo missing people? Do you just keep putting it off because it seems overwhelming? Getting beautiful photos does not have to be a hassle!! It might seem scary or overwhelming to work with a professional photographer but it isn't, not if your photographer really is a professional. As the client, you should only have three jobs: book, show up to your session, and select images to print. That's it! Your photographer should be taking care of everything else. It's our job to provide you with all the education you need to make your session relaxing and a success.
I know from my own life that if you don't know what you're doing or you're starting a new experience, you end up putting it off because you just don't want to deal with it. If you've never worked with a professional photographer, it's definitely a different experience! If you've had a bad experience before, you might not want to try again. If all you've done before was a studio like Portrait Innovations or JC Penny, this experience will be nothing like that! Hiring a professional photography means you are working one on one with that person, communicating with them before and after and spending time with them at your session. Really, when it comes down to it, you only have one job - picking your photographer. They have a responsibility to you to say if they don't think they are the right person for you, but trust yourself! If you don't think they are a good fit for you, keep looking! Don't settle because that won't get you the best experience. Do you have questions about what you should look for in a photographer or their experience? I'm happy to help and answer any questions you may have!!

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
