We used to play Two Truths and Lie frequently in my co-op and it got harder and harder to think of things that my friends didn't know about me!! I guess I don't think of my life as being that interesting because I am having a hard time thinking of something many don't know that would be of any interest. Okay, I've got something. Those who knew this have probably forgotten, but I had several things I was considering as potential jobs and one was occupational therapist for children (particularly autistic children).
I have a cousin and a good friend with autism and I love them and thought that I'd really like working with sweet kids like them. They see the world so differently and to this day, they both can surprise me and make me laugh by their observations and insights. I know I'm blessed to have them in my life. I've found that when you can put a face to something like autism, it helps it be less scary and less uncomfortable to deal with. I am able to relate to other people who have developmental problems better because of growing up with these friends. Do you have the privilege of knowing a child with autism, Down Syndrome, or something similar? I'd love to hear how they have touched your life.

Hi! I'm Sarah!
I am a natural light portrait photographer. I've been taking photos since 2014 and would eat a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch everyday if I could. Thank you so much for stopping by. I blog about sessions, things I'm learning, stuff in my life, and information for YOU, my client. If you like what you see around the site, I'd love to work with you! I'd also love to connect with you on Instagram. I'm @sarah_jayne_photo :) Archives
