An Extended Family Session At Greenmead

It's been four years since I had this lovely family in front of my camera and things have changed a lot! Six kids 5 and under requires some creativity at times, because they want to MOVE! Greenmead is a great spot, since there is lots of open space.

Last time we did photos, it was quite cold and there were only two kids, one of whom was an infant. This time it was quite warm and there were kids everywhere! We tried some of the traditional poses and moved to more interactive ones quickly :) Tickle fights, running to the parents, swinging a baby in the air... kids want to move so we moved! When you have young children, they really determine the pace of the session and what kinds of poses you get. It might seem like chaos in the moment, but it's really fun and results in great photos.

I am so thankful for clients who come back over and over again, who entrust me with the task of capturing their family, and who especially trust me to capture good images with so many little faces to keep engaged! It was so nice to see everyone again and meet/re-meet some of the kids.
